In putting together our research project, we carefully and deliberately created a research team to ensure that it is multidimensionally diverse by gender, ethnicity, and career stage. Our team is still being formed, but as it currently stands it comprises of over half women; a third early career, a third mid-career and one-third senior researchers. In terms of ethnicity, we estimate that two thirds would identify as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic. We have not estimated or sought information on religious beliefs or caste. We also appreciate that these names and categories are imperfect and do not account for someone’s perception of their identity. These are themes we will explore further in the research.
